Finding Fishing Lodges In Ontario

Are you seriously into fishing and looking at fishing in Ontario? Let me point you in the right direction. There is a main lodge where you can be treated to full meal service. There are cabins to suit couples, families or accommodation packages for up to 24 people and many include electric power supply, indoor plumbing, private showers and flush toilets, some lodes have communal shower areas that boast a sauna, refrigerator with freezer, outdoor BBQ. All packages include boat and motor. You have a choice of between 3, 4 and 7 day adventures depending on which lodge you choose and some lodges offer guided tours downstream and you get to sample fishing in the fast moving water, whist others other on location plane day trips.

Be in total control of your fishing adventure and book a Fly In Outpost Cabin. Many times you are the only cabin on the lake filled with Pike, beautiful tasting Walleyes and huge Brook Trout. Bring your own sleeping bags, fishing tackle and of course food and you will be flown in and out right to your cabin which has propane or solar power, boat, fuel and motor await you plus maps of the best spots and just in case you feel the need to contact the outside world, a two way radio.

Do not forget to organize a Conservation Fishing License for every member in your group although most of the fishing lodges in Ontario will help prepare these for you in advance upon request. Be sure you are aware of how many fish you can have in your possession and of size limits. All lodges request that you help maintain the unspoilt wilderness areas by removing all your rubbish including bottles and cans. Discarded fishing line can be an environmental hazard and can injure or even kill wildlife. Be sure to extinguish all campfires etc and do not throw cigarette butts on the ground or from moving cars.

COTTAGE RESERVATION POLICY

A deposit per cottage is required when making a reservation with remainder payable upon arrival by cash, VISA or MasterCard. Holiday Seasons are prepaid 30 days in advance. If cancellation is received 60 days prior to arrival date, or if another reservation is taken to replace your entire cancellation, a full refund minus a service charge will be given. To avoid any misunderstanding, you will be charged for the number of nights reserved. Personal checks welcome for deposit only, Visa and MasterCard or Cash on arrival only accepted. During July and August all cottages are rented on a weekly basis only, Saturday to Saturday. Check - in 3 p.m. Check - out 9 a.m. A fee of $ 50 shall apply to any late check-outs.
