Your Fishing Vacation In Canada
Did you know that Canada is home to over 70,000 bodies of water? This includes lakes, streams, rivers, and even some rather large rain puddles (well, maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration). Canada fishing vacations are bound to be jam-packed with exciting water-related activities and of course fishing is number one at the top of the list of Things to Do.
The advantages to deciding to take your fishing vacation in Canada are endless; Canada is home to a variety of fauna and flora and they have a great deal of undeveloped wilderness. This is what makes the area so popular for fishing and hunting vacations. Many people (especially those who do not fish often) fail to see the fun in a Canada fishing vacation, especially when you hold it up against a tropical island vacation, a rock climbing getaway or something similarly exotic and/or exciting.
However, Canada fishing vacations hold an element all their own when it comes to fun and excitement. If you are tired of spending thousands of dollars to fly across the world just to lay on a beach and you want to spend your money on something more productive and enjoyable or you plain old just want to get back to nature, Canada fishing vacations are definitely something that you should look into.
So, how do you know where to start when you are looking into a fishing vacation? It all depends on what type of fishing you are looking to do. If it is salmon fishing you desire, be sure to check out some of the bodies of water in Ontario and British Columbia; Lake Ontario is home to some of the finest salmon fishing in the world, so salmon fishing fans should definitely plan their Canada fishing vacation accordingly, making sure to include Lake Ontario. In the same respect, Campbell River is also in British Columbia and they are infamous for their large quantity of King Salmon, as well.
Maybe it is bass you are after, or you are the catch-and-release type of fisher; in this case, Ontario is your best bet for bass fishing, not to mention the fact that the area is also known for their beautiful trout fish and ever-biting walleye fish.
If you are an avid fisher or you just want to be, consider a Canada fishing vacation as your next getaway. It will give you the chance to get back in touch with nature and perhaps reconnect with the people (or person) in your life who are special enough to take a vacation with. Have fun!
